Having trouble with how to use your new barbeque grill? Don’t worry today in this blog you’ll learn about how to utilize your barbeque grill efficiently. There are 5 main types of barbeque grills:

  1. Charcoal Grills:

Charcoal grills are best to cook a natural smoky flavor. A charcoal grill needs coals to be lit to begin grilling, this task can be done by using a fire starter and a long match. Charcoal takes time to heat up so wait for 20 minutes before you try to clean the charcoal ashes. After you are done with the charcoal grill, close the lid and let the charcoal cool down naturally before starting to cook again. Charcoal grills generate a lot of heat and that’s why they get hotter and leave a more natural flavor, but they are very difficult to clean. Every charcoal grill works with some few basic similarities. Air  intake is present at the bottom of the grill and can be adjusted manually. When air enters into the grill, it passes by the lit charcoal and leaves through another vent located at the top of the grill. The more air enters the grill, more heat will be generated and the grill will get hotter.

  1. Charcoal Kettle Grills:

These types of grills are one of the most commonly recognized types of charcoal grills. These are simpler than other types of grills, are shaped in the form of a kettle, the bottom is rounded and this grill also consists of a tight removable lid, grill gates and a stand. Charcoal is placed in the bottom of the grill, elevated on a small grate which allows ashes and cooking debris to fall freely away from the source of the heat and maintain a balanced airflow over the charcoal.

The main advantage of a charcoal kettle grill over other grills is that it is much more portable than the other grills and requires much less charcoal to run. These grills are used just like other charcoal grills.

  1. Electric Grills:

Electric grills are the newest technology of barbeque grills. These grills usually come with an off and on button. After you have plugged the switch in, press start and the grill will start pre heating, these grills also have  an indicator that lets you know when the grill has reached the right temperature. Once it has reached the right temperature, you just simply need to lay your chosen type of food on the cooking plate and close the lid. You should apply some oil on the plate so that your food will not stick to it.

  1. Gas and propane Grills:

Gas grills are the best grills which do not harm the environment since they run on propane. Before you start with cooking just make sure that you have enough propane, so that you wouldn’t run out of propane in the middle of the barbeque session. Open the grill’s lid and turn the propane tank’s valve anti clockwise until it’s open. Turn the first burner high and press the ignition button, in case if it does not light you need to change the batteries or you can use a long match or a lighter to light manually. After the first burner is lit, turn the other burners to high, close the lid and let the grill preheat for some minutes. After the grill is heated just lay your desired food on the grill and cook it.

  1. Pellet Grill:

Pellet grills run on pellets. Before you start to fill your hopper with pellets make sure that it’s clear of debris after that light the grill, this is done by pressing the ignition button after the grill lights set temperature then wait for the grill to reach the desired temperature after that grill your favorite food on it and adjust the grill while cooking.
